Taste of India opened in April 2007. The restaurant was previously called Agra. The restaurant has been totally transformed with a new vibrant colour scheme, numerous Indian artefacts, paintings and textiles, and a very attractive terrace under the palm trees.
Taste of India is owned by the head chef, Sirajul Islam, who has fifteen years' experience of running Indian restaurants, five of those in India itself, the other ten in Europe.
The assistant chef is Kaysor Ahmed who continues the fine tradition of excellent cuisine at this restaurant.
Taste of India offers a wide range of quality Indian cuisine. Here are just a few examples of the most popular dishes from the succulent menu:
Chicken or lamb tikka masala (10€), Chicken or lamb chilli masala (10€), Mixed special balti (12€), Curry/Madras/Vindaloo (each with chicken, lamb, beef or vegetables - 8€), Dupiaza with onion (8.50€), Rogan josh with tomatoes (8.50€), Chicken, lamb or beef korma (8.50€).
